NIORT
An historic town on the banks of the Sèvre Niortaise River, you
can walk into the old town following the Dragon de la rue de Niort,
where 2 bronze dragons line the route to the old round tower and
church of Notre Dame.
Une ville historique sur les bord de la
Sèvre Niortaise. Vous pouvez vous promener dans le centre ville
en suivant la rue des dragons, visiter le Logis de l'Hercule et
le Donjon de Niort qui aurait été construit par Henri II Plantagenêt,
roi d' Angleterre époux d'Aliénor d'Aquitaine.

to explore the architectural heritage and sample speciality foods
and wines, visit museums and not forgetting the magnificent aquarium.
